The Romare Bearden Foundation, Brandywine Workshop and Macy’s Department Store in downtown Philadelphia celebrate the 100^th anniversary of Romare Bearden’s birth with a series of events February 15^th. Bearden was the first recipient of Brandywine’s James Van Der Zee Award for artistic achievement.
